A single gaze;

welcoming in

four pairs of eyes

blue as aventurine...

My soul

takes residence in yours

like a homebody-

My hearts homestead

may be my body—

Adora darling you’re

the beat in my pulse:

like chime of a doorbell-

My affectionate heart is no longer, homeless

Her hayseed hashes;

Leave the straw in the field
