Standing at the crossroads
Searching for answers or friends
When you’ve been knocked down it’s so hard to stand
Blown about like a leaf upon the breeze
Sometimes the only answer is to hit your knees
This life can be so complicated
So many chasing say they’re on grind but it’s over rated
We fall back to all we ever knew something inside looks for you
Life like a ship upon the ocean with no sail without a destination how will you prevail
Millions of grains of sand spread out along the sea
To find your way you have to hit your knees
So many roads as you try to navigate but you just don’t know
Like a car primed and ready to roll but what direction will you go
Time for many seems like a bitter pill for we know bad choices can override the human will
Loved ones sometimes watch beg and plead as they see that you are in need
All that remains is to hit your knees
Our world has come so far and clearly we can see all the battles scars
Time does not discriminate it touches each and every soul
It last but a moment then it is gone
A prayer simple as a gentle breeze
Just hit your knees

So many wonderful lines, but I loved this "Life like a ship upon the ocean with no sail without a destination how will you prevail"
