The Journey

Life

Time to take stock

Making decisions

Like children throwing rocks

Consequences arrive and take stage

Leaving you to contemplate rage

A over abundance on information does not give people the clarity to see

Its causes confusion within the whole of our Society

Time to reflect on your life as you try to see

On this journey are you where you are supposed to be

So many who see this world from a jaded point of view

When you are so quick to judge what does that say about you

What is your purpose, what is your plan

To be among the one percenters is where you take your stand

Whether you be in a prison or your own mental jail

Where the people have no vision the people fail

So much has been taken so much has be blocked

Our educational systems have truly been rocked

Of this life’s journey what will you say

I may not be where I want to be, but at least I am on the way
