Here’s to happy souls and smiling hearts,

To relaxed minds and brand-new starts.

Who knows what fresh days will hold?

Only we can let our tales unfold.

There are those to whom it’s scary, true.

But to them I ask “Why worry, you?”

Fears abound, oh this I know,

But conquering fear is how we grow.

Here’s to covenants born and guilt cast out,

To fiery loves and abandoned doubt.

After all, who needs that stuff? It’s baggage!

It clouds our way and hides our adage:

Carpe diem, seize this day!

It’s you yourself who paves the way,
