I was crying and screaming

Begging on my knees

For it to stop

The voices so loud

The time so slow

He was never really there?

He promised me

He wouldn’t leave

But, he was never really there

He had his ways

He could tell you a story

So well

You think it be true

But, it was never what I wanted to hear

He was close

But never really near

He was never really there?

Oh , here we go again

Why?

0h , you were never really there

But I still can’t seem to let you go

Your blood. Your air.

But you were never really there
