Hate, a flame that burns so bright
A poison that seeps through the soul
Leaving scars that never grow old
It festers and grows, a cancerous might
Destroying all that's good and bright
It divides and conquers, a cruel design
Leaving only darkness and decline
Hate, a weight that's hard to bear
A burden that's crushing, beyond repair
It distorts and twists, a warped view
Making enemies, where friends once drew
But still, we can choose to let go
To extinguish the flames, and heal the sores
To bridge the gaps, and mend the tears
And fill the voids, with love and cheers
For hate may seem powerful, but it's weak

Hatred is one of the most dangerous things indeed! Loved this poem, it hits hard...
