zephyr hums

through the

shadowed night

exhaling silvery

spindled threads

rung ‘round

leaf

and bough

adorning

tattered

remnants

in a

prismatic shroud

oh how

beautiful you are

on this sacred

eve

how lovely your

abandon

i am here

let me hold you

in your dark night

let me cradle you

in this quiet death

let me

bear silent witness

to your unburdening

and together

we shall

sever

all that no longer

serves you

and send it off

in a

coffin of diamonds

then

come light

you shall see

how lovely

the breath of night

how

glorious

and

shimmering

that

which can

only be

born

of the

dark

About the Creator

Kristen Balyeat

Words fly to me on the wind, bump me as I'm strolling the city, splash me in the face while I rest by the river, and shake me awake in the middle of the night—I’m humbly one of the vessels they use to come to life.

Also, i love you:)
