Freedom

Slip me

Into abstract dreams

Where I’ll follow you

To the end of ends,

Lend me a hand.

Send me deep into

Dark turquoise waters

Where mermaids

Sing their transient

Songs.

And you’ll look back

And confess your love.

You’re the kind

Of beauty that’s hard

To turn away from.

The kind that

Reminds me of

Happiness,

Of drops of

Constant sunlight.

You’re the only

One of your kind.

Magnificent and

Articulate.

Ride the moon

With me til morning

Then kiss my lips

Like sunlight

Kisses the sky.

You’re like

Something out

Of a dream

To me,

And I suppose

That’s how you’ll

Remain when

I wake up.
