Guilt
She is struck by self-awareness with her occurring flaws, and lately has been adapting from the shadow of her forgettable past
She resigns from a mildly toxic relationship
If she felt the breaking tone of her voice
And the massive pain rising beneath
It would feel like she could not go on
With the process of attempting a closure
Face to face with her long time lover
The lack of confidence, as if it was the best decision, or a skeptical one
It revolved her mind for quite awhile, but knew it was best
She felt near freedom, relief
But she loved him dearly
She was afraid
She was provoked by the man's mistakes, their endless path of mistakes
She avoided on what was very important
That was her biggest mistake
She had not visualized a better plan
There was a good chance for a proper closure for the both of them
There was a chance where they both could have ended on good terms
Again, she was afraid
He dragged the relationship to a cold and an uncaring, unfaithful state
She closed it to a cold, and an uncaring state
This is her guilt, she has healed from it
Self-forgiveness, self-care, self-awareness
She has never forgotten on what was important most of all
Herself, she did the best that she could
And she learned how to not give a fuck
She remains a baddie, she remains truthful to others and herself
She is saving her spirit for the better man
Let her be known, let yourself be known
