Sorrel-Weed House, Savannah, GA
rob my grave of all
my bones, and I'll
thank you for it with
all my soul. you know,
it's not easy to
keep it light when it's
mausoleum in the
back of my mind.
robbed my grave, but you
left my heart, 'cause it
bleeds too much, gushing
all over the white.
it's not easy to
make it right, the wrong
when I don't know how
far it was along.
rob my grave, but the
joke's on you, I don't
have nothing you want
in my coffin here.
it's been hard for a
ghost like me to feel
I belong in a
place that I can reach.
