Every day we have a choice,

To look at life with joy or voice,

A negative or positive light,

Which we choose can shape our sight.

Gratitude is a gift, a tool,

To help us change our daily rule,

A mindset that can lift us high,

And bring us joy that can’t deny.

For every day we have the sun,

And rain to make the flowers run,

The laughter of a child at play,

These things we should not push away.

We have the roof above our heads,

A warm bed where we can rest our beds,

The food that feeds and sustains,

These things should bring us joy and gains.

So let us focus on what's right,

And keep the negative out of sight,

For gratitude can change our view,

And bring us happiness that’s true.

For with a grateful heart and mind,

We'll leave behind our worries, combined,

With love, peace, and happiness,

A life that’s truly blessed.
