GRANNY’S MISSING BRA

Granny was upset that day,
Her bra had gone astray,
It vanished from the washing line,
She cried, That bra was mine.

She searched the garden high and low,
But where on earth did it go?
She checked the hedge and garden chair,
Her blooming bra was nowhere there.

She searched the streets for hours on end,
And asked each neighbour and a friend,
She even stopped the local cop,
Who wished that Granny’s tale would stop.

No signal, Granny loudly cried,
As though her bra had gone to hide,
The copper didn’t want to know,
So Granny turned for home to go.

She put the kettle on to brew,
Not knowing what else she could do,
Then heard a noise beside the chair,
And saw her little doggy there.

He sat so proudly in his bed,
With Granny’s bra upon his head,
One cup was hanging down each side,
He wore the thing with so much pride.

She tried to scold the cheeky pup,
But Granny couldn’t keep it up,
She laughed until her poor sides hurt,
While doggy rolled upon her skirt.

Oh what a sight, oh what a view.
What mischief does my dog get up to
She grabbed her bra and laughed, You sod.
Then gave a great big hug to the dog.
