Good Night

Sea to the sun

The tide rolls in, the tide rolls out.

The sun circles the earth one more time. With the dolphins dancing in the surf I give thanks for another day spent in the loving care of our heavenly father. As the last flicker of light passes over the horizon, as the deep blue waves say their last good night the sun beams flashing upon the very tips of the now forgotten sea. I bend my knees to the one who created all such wonders. Time to rest now under velvet pin pricked skies letting insipid points of light shine through. Once again father we thank you in all humility for we are nothing but the hollow wind passing above the black seas of life.

About the Creator

David Hallowell

Stands with a Roar ( as in thunder) As his native American name suggests; he speaks with thunder, in essence he has a message for all to hear. The messages is set forth in poetic style, like flashes on enlightenment for all to hear.
