Sometimes in life,
You wait for something for so long
Anxiously thinking, what if…
And going through all what if nots…
That you become numb
And indifferent to the news
When it finally comes.
I got tenure today.
Do I feel relieved? – Yes.
Do I feel excited? – Not really.
Just exhausted and burned out.
Still 50 more final papers to grade
Before the deadline on Monday.

Congratulations on your tenure. Even though you may not be excited, and you have those papers...after they are graded, I hope you do something nice for yourself. You deserve it!
Congratulations, Lana! It may be a rough moment right now, but you have earned it!
Waiting is also the universal law to achieve your desired outcome! 😊 Incredibly done! 💝
Congratulations. But I hear this. There are also different types of news, and this type comes with a lot of work!
Now I'm conflicted if I should congratulate you. But what I will do os send you lots of love and hugs 🥰🥰🥰
Well, congrats though burned out. I know the feeling well. I have had many moments like that, even here on Vocal. Expectations and reality do not blend well. Still, make it count.
