Most of my poems are at least sort of abstract but this one is pretty direct.
Gone Too Far
It drives me crazy
It makes me sad
It pisses me off
It drives me mad
This hyper-rewrite
Of everything we are
Is destroying our humanity
It has gone too far
Don't use that pronoun
Never say that word
That once beloved song
Shall never again be heard
If they can even precieve
Of an imaginary slight
We must cancel it all
And remove it from sight
When will it end?
It's up to each of us to choose
When we finally say "no more"
We will no longer loose
