Golden Hair
A Tribute To A Wonderful Friend Inspired By A James Joyce Poem
This sonnet is a tribute to a very good friend who may or may not reveal herself.
The poem is personal to her, and was inspired when I saw a beautiful selfie of hers on Instagram. The song is a version of James Joyceβs βGolden Hairβ by Syd Barrett.
I promised I would do a version for her which you can listen to in this shared album hopefully

Your witches eyes , your golden hair
Bewitched me when I saw you then
You cast a spell, feels like heaven
Spellbound I stand, forever here

A lover , a carer you are
You work so hard to make things right
Helping others ,by day and night
My witching friend with Golden Hair

My Golden Witch a Vegan Queen
Sometimes a hundred miles apart
And Sometimes you are almost seen
You have my friendship and my heart
And I will brush your golden hair
And hold the hand, a Witch So Fair
