Here in Glen Allen,

Driving at night,

The signal clangs,

Loud it rang,

The sound loud,

The gates bowed,

I hear the loud rumble,

Of the locomotive,

The rail is illuminated,

By the bright lights,

Passing through Glen Allen at night,

It is a sight at the rail crossing,

People look out and wonder,

How many trains come through here,

Day upon day,

Night upon night,

What a sight,

If you visit Glen Allen,

The town is so fun,

I feel time has just begun,

The lights brighten the track,

I would love to relax,

As the trains roll through,

When at the crossing,

Time is pausing,

When the trains roll through,

Here in Glen Allen.
