Gie It Laldy
An Espinela Inspired By Breakfast At The Ness Guest House

Introduction
We were impressed with our first stay at The Ness Guest House, and this was another great stay, with trips out to Culloden and Nairn. Susan and Richard are wonderful hosts, and over another excellent breakfast, I saw these two dialect wall ornaments and thought:
"Could I write a poem using these phrases, and some more Scottish dialect?"
So I came up with this Espinela for a bit of fun, but if you ever come to inverness this is a wonderful place to stay.
This poem is on the wall in the dining room:
And this was another result of staying there
The music is "Wild Mountain Thyme" by The SLincers, one of my favourite versions of the song.
