GENERATION Z...
They call us the “iGeneration”,
The trophy Generation,
Generation ME,
The ‘socially awkward’ Generation, The apathetic Generation,
The Zombie Generation.
Born into chaos, Born in debt...
Fighting in wars we did not start, Under a government we did not choose, Run by people we did not elect.
We are inheriting a world that has been victim to greed and violence.
They call us lazy...because instead of working our whole lives, we choose to live it.
They call us rebels...because we fight for justice against the unjust that disguise themselves in patriotism.
They call us shameless...because we choose to be unapologetic about who we are and who we love.
Generation Z—
The technological generation.
The independent generation.
The generation that accepts change.
Like the sun, we will rise
and like the moon, we will move tides.
We are the Dystopian generation and we’ve been preparing for this our whole lives.
We are the survivors amongst the rubble.
