Let the Horses die

I'd prefer not to know you're lying.

I'd rather believe you are telling the truth.

But instead, you ignore your job as the media and never report the news.

As if this distraction was not enough for my dissatisfaction, with regards to all the things I believe we could do.

Our lives become chips at the table, and you continue to gamble and play so loose.

It's part of the plan to divide and conquer, waiting until we become unglued.

Then, after the rich become the horses, we become the horses' shoes.

And while it's hard to place winning bets, it's easy to sell a lie.

So, listen closely, and I'll sell you a secret—you know, for the right price.

After the media collects their winnings, they let all the horses die.

Thus the process begins anew. Once, of course, they go back and remove

all of the dead horses' shoes.
