I know what you want
For me to just shut up
Well, I guess I won’t
I have tried to
Just for you
Keep my mouth tightly closed
But I’m over that
I won’t accept anymore
Your gag orders
I have my own mind
Better than yours.
Truthfully, I’m sick of this
What used to be simply
A nuisance, a mild inconvenience
Has become, to me, at least
Unbearably, ridiculously unnecessary
I know what you want
You want me to not have
A mind of my own
But I do. I hate to tell you
I just can’t obey these
Gag orders anymore
I have a mind, all my own
Better than yours
And truthfully, the tape is off
There’s just no going back
I’ll refrain for now
Telling you all the things
I held back for so long
But if you push
Anymore tonight
These lips of mine
Will no longer remain
Tightly pressed around my tongue
I have my own mind
And I’m sick of this
Your gag orders no longer
Have any hold over me
