A wheel is frozen in place.

❄️

A perpetual moment stuck in time.

❄️ ❄️

Icicles hanging delicately from the wood.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Cold temperatures keep everything completely preserved.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Damp wood swelled in the ice.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Brown grass is asleep til spring.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Bare tree branches behind the mill.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

A creek that sleeps in winter.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

A cold that seeps into bones.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️

A frozen beauty in nature’s majesty.

❄️ ❄️

Red shingled roof protecting the mill.

❄️

A wheel waiting for its turn.

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
