Frozen in Time

Frost bitten

Frost on the leaves

The early morning frost

bright and shining

is something that I find

absolutely fascinating

To gaze upon the rays of the sun

glistening from the icy grass

and sparkling from the frozen leaves

is truly nature at it's best

The crystals of ice blanket the earth

looking as if there has been

a snow fall in the night

reflection from an icy pond

glimmers of winter

I love this time of year

such a wonderful chilly season

When I gaze upon the frosty dew

with my breath blowing from my lips

I am always amazed at the scene

laid out before me

and how it mesmerizes my soul
