I don’t remember how I met my found brother

He remembers it like yesterday

A fishbowl of vodka that he left with me

All gone by the time he gets back

I still owe him a drink

His mum wrote to me recently

My son said he’s your big brother

So you are now my daughter

Love mum

I have a vegan twin imprisoned with anxiety

I remember her for all the holidays, markets and gigs we go to

She is still here and is screaming to get out of her shell

The fight with mental health is not over

My Filipino sister is different;

Sometimes she’s my mum

Sometimes she’s my wife

And sometimes she’s my big sister

On all the other days

My big sister in Romania loves her life here

She gave me some good advice

To never sell your soul for more

Or you will regret it

It’s great advice

When you’re an only child

You tend to pick up siblings along the way
