Rekindling Hope Amidst Faded Memories

In the deep recesses of my mind

There lie forgotten dreams

Once bright and hopeful, now resigned

To dusty, darkened schemes

The passage of time has worn them thin

Like faded tapestries

Their colors muted, their edges frayed

Lost to all but memories

Yet sometimes, in the dead of night

They stir and start to glow

Like embers from a dying fire

That refuse to let go

And in those moments, I can see

The beauty of what could be

The hopes and dreams that once were mine

And now, again, are free

For though they may be forgotten

They're not lost forevermore

And with a little bit of faith

They can be found once more.
