Forgive Your Past

I dawned on my past & it made feel like,

Time should heal all wounds and,

Holding In emotions, brings me to “what should I do?”,

That era should’ve been a closed chapter,

But me, no I’m a grudge holder, and it will be war forever.

But I think it’s time for a change,

Many incidents have shown that it’s me and not them,

All I need is an ear and advice for this growth within,

Just to get the pain off my chest and to let go of the rest,

The hurt from my mind that has been distressed,

But how does that work?, the hurt from my mind?!

When does the heart come in to play?!

Heart over mind and mind over matter,

Releasing memories influenced by the struggle,

Balance required,

Vulnerability much needed,

Childhood trauma please release it,

the wall is falling, the heart is peaking,

Don’t block your blessings from your past experience.
