Bask in the glory of my own self-esteem
I can sleep in or stay up late
Devour a whole pizza or just a slice, it's great
I can spend my money as I please
Or save it up for those rainy days with ease
But sometimes I long for a hand to hold
Someone to share my stories untold
A partner in crime to make memories with
A soulmate who can give me that special lift
But until then, I'll enjoy the single life
Embrace the freedom, no need for strife
For I know that someday, the right one will appear
And I'll be ready to face that new frontier.
