i believe i have become fluid

that was my goal, wasn't it?

  1. unfixedness. TICK!

certainly, i don't know where i begin or i end

anymore

and the surface tension doesn't help

no

i am successfully shifting shapelessly

from one form to the next

quite unable to get a purchase on what's going on

have i won?

oh, the judgement...

i need more eyes

so many eyes

i am a droplet on a glass microscope slide

morphing in and out of focus

a perpetuity in jamais

"This... oh, yes... this... no, maybe not."

my surface tension crawls with a rash of red alert

it itches

such a lot

but i am too small to make a splash of it

i shall just sit out of water

with sores

not sures

shivering from the bends

looking into a glaring emergent horizon

wondering if my tide will ever come in

Stream of Consciousness

About the Creator

Caroline Jane

CJ lost the plot a long time ago. Now, she writes to explore where all paths lead, collecting crumbs of perspective as her pen travels. One day, she may have enough for a cake, which will, no doubt, be fruity.
