There was a flower which once bloomed,
Bloomed with full of love.
The fragrance that it gave me,
Was the only fragrance of its love.
Its love so deep and so rooted within,
That it gave me its all.
It touched me so deep that I,
The rock, couldn't help but fall.
There was nothing to behold,
And nothing to bother.
Just two souls,
Intertwined with each other.
Two souls full of love,
Just loving each other.
No one would judge,
And no one would bother.
A flower and a rock,
Stood with each other.
The promise they made
Of staying always together.
The two stood together
Under the sun and rain.
Just stood together,
Sharing each other's pain.
The Spring was on it's end,
And no one bothered.
There was no water,
And so the flower withered.
The Spring finally went away
With a gush of wind,
Taking along with it the petals
Of the withered flower that were once intertwined.
The rock stood alone,
Left behind desolated.
The lifeless rock laid there,
As if decimated.
It stood isolated,
Under the sun and rain.
It had endured alone,
All of it's own pain.
There was nothing more to lose,
Nothing more to gain.
The rock just kept wishing,
May the withered flower bloom again...
