Flower Child

poetry

By Crystal WolfPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

The picture in mind is a wildling female spirit. Stripped of societies standards, connected to something more unearthly almost cosmic...

...a very close cousin to a star child, but more savage.

This unruly force is the outcast, the unwanted, the abused and even sadly the conformed.

There is a secret to this childhood buried out of fear and misunderstandings, a beast created methodically to cut its own wild out and smash flowers over time...

...an unspoken acknowledgment shamed into hiding in deep wounds that only bleed out over generations.

All wounds however are destined to heal into scars...and how terrifyingly beautiful is the scarred soul of that which runs through the veins and gives awakening to the barefoot masculine child.
