War-

The war is never ending.

The war for love.

The war for souls.

The war for lives.

The war within.

We are always at war.

As if a scale has always tipped to one side

War is constant

War is now a common place in time

Will we war forevermore

Or will war end with the deafening sound of peace.

Salvation-

A storm that persists

It tears down all in its path

Rains that flood all the lands

Winds that moan

Lightning that breaks the sky open

Thunder that rattles strongholds

Hold your ground

The light will return

Bringing peace

And a chance to return what was once lost.

The light will cast out all dark

Darkness will do all to take hold once more

Hold true to the light

And you will conquer all plight

Life-

Your kiss brings me to new heights

Time spent with you is magical

I use you to make memories

Memories that will keep me going

Whenever we must part ways it is a sweet sorrow

You are loved by all

We all get once chance with you

You are needed by so many

But what do you need

I am thankful for you

Each time our paths cross

You are a blessing

Victory-

You battle for control

Two sides of a coin

Both with equal strength

Ever at war with each other

Never using words

All you know is how to fight

Have you forgotten yourselves

Have you forgotten love

Has hate blinded you so that your opinion must be the only correct opinion

Each time you deny love, you deny yourself the true victory you deserve.

Hope-

A spark flickers

A fire that starts from no source

It engulfs you with overwhelming emotions

Giving you new hope

Making it possible to see in color

The black and white lenses slowly start to fade

Revealing the hidden beauty

All this from a divine source

All this from Hope
