If you're reading this, you're a lover of the spooky season too. What is it that intrigues you? Draws you in? Here is a little BGM for your reading today.

The first day of fall.

It’s finally spooky season.

The chill in the air sweeps through my hair — cold breezes.

Hairs be standing up on the back of our necks.

The shadows lurking and creeping.

The first day of fall.

Colours and all.

Crunchy piles of leaves for jumping.

Cosy cups full of spices, apples and pumpkins.

Coffees and teas. Open fireplace, please.

Gathering tales of spooky ghouls breathing.

Haunting our dreams. Wide-eyed, barely sleeping.

Nostalgia and Goosebumps. You probably know.

New friends, too. A Cabinet of Curiosities. Del Toro — shadows and woe.

Alone, with a chuckle, a cackle or brew.

The spooky season brings laughter and screams, too.

Tricks or treats. Both if you dare.

Or one or the other, I don't really care.

Hocus Pocus the first, not the second.

It’s the first day of fall.

Dig into the present.

Jack and Sally are ready to go, with Zero to follow.

Halloween town. Let’s go.

Singing the song.

Yes, you’re humming it now.

We all know its tune. To howl or to shout.

It’s the first day of fall. Finally spooky season.

The reasons why we like this cold season are many.

For some, it’s the chills chilly. For others, small candles.

Bone-chilling tales or axes on car handles.

It’s the first day of fall. Spooky season is here.

Scary Stories are stirring in the air.

Happy spooky season to all, and to all, a good night.

May the dim lighted stories give you the right fright.
