The phone is on silent

As I wait for you to answer.

My thoughts are like a dancer

Spinning around in my head.

As time goes on

You still don’t call.

Realizing it will all fall

And love will soon be gone.

Sorry I have to go

Soon the pain begins to slow.

I wish it didn’t have to end

But we could still be friends.

I never meant to hurt you

But that is all I seem to do.
