Fading Flames

A Withered Rose

Two hearts, like celestial bodies aligned,

Once entwined in love's orbit, beautifully defined.

But as gravity waned, they drifted afar,

Like distant stars, their connection marred.

Their love, once a symphony, now an abandoned score,

A garden, once blooming, now barren and sore.

Like rivers diverging, they charted new streams,

Two separate canvases, shattered dreams.

They became like novels with missing pages,

Unfamiliar scripts, bound by sorrow's cages.

Their once vibrant colors, now faded and gray,

Two puzzle pieces, scattered and astray.

But amidst the ruins, hope takes its flight,

Like a phoenix reborn, rising from night.

For from the fragments, new worlds will emerge,

Like kaleidoscopes, shattered glass to converge.

In separate constellations, they find their way,

Rekindling stardust, a cosmic ballet.

Destined to shine, though apart they may roam,

Two shooting stars, finding purpose, finding home.
