Exclusively Elusive

A riddle, a rhyme

I originate in the eyes of critical minds, searching for something of the unique kind.

I pick, I choose, I get tossed around, looking for others seeking to be found.

They try to capture me, with deserving hope. But I elude their grasp, I look away and say nope.

It's not their turn and it's not their fault, I'm hidden away like an unseen vault.

I bring with me a feeling of praise, when I finally meet you, I'm sure to amaze.

Wherever I land is anyone's guess, the critical minds agree, when to say next.

I'm filled with joy and spread much glory. Who am I? I am the Top Story.

Will you ever find me? Well, that depends on you. Keep writing, keep striving, beat the odds and break through...
