"ENLIGHTEN ME"

Written by Charm Baker - aka: Justiss Goode

Enlighten me with wisdom

Somebody tell me how

To never fall in love again

To make that as a vow

I find it happens often

I don’t know how it starts

A simple smile a tender touch

And damn there goes my heart

At first the time we spend is good

Together every day

Two hearts now beat as one heart now

In tune in every way

When heated up disputes begin

They always end in passion

We fight real loud and love real hard

And that becomes our fashion

But then the tide begins to change

We go from hot to warm

The fighting stops the quiet starts

The calm before the storm

And when we finally call it quits

It’s hard to say goodbye

I claim I really hate your guts

But down deep that’s a lie

Enlighten me with wisdom

For answers I do yearn

If I get over love this time

My lesson I will learn!
