I am an enigma.

Charging,

like voltage building,

there is a stillness

that endures the static.

I S T R I K E

with a magncificent

C R A S H

The air

separates

and your

hairs rise

in salute.

Before now I was but a blip on a radar

an insignificant speck.

I build

gaining power at impeccable veracity.

I clear

trees.

Burning

Snapping

Smoke rising like

screams of terror.

Rain

falling like

tears.

and the fire

h s e

i s s

at my memory.

I will

consume you.

About the Creator

Zeline Farney

I love poetry and the way words sound. I am a fiction lover. I love adventures and fairytales and things that could never be real. I love daydreaming. I tell silly tales to my children and recently decided to create a book for them.
