Emily May, woke up one day; and kissed her life goodbye.

Though she was my friend, I knew it would end; but something inside of me cried.

She was alone, still living at home; I was in my upper room.

I tried to see her; I tried to be her,

But she prayed in the garden, alone with the moon.

Till ourselves we lie, when our own nature we deny,

And we bring our ships, too soon to shore.

But she was too scared to go, Oh how the hell was I to know,

And she changed the locks on all her doors.

She had a child, all happy, with her smile.

The best things in life aren't planned.

And she shut herself within and made a life of loving him,

And this became her final plan.. and.

Emily, wont come out to play no more.

Oh Emily cant come out to play anymore.

Now Emily is a busy girl all set within her little world.

She stares at the car in front of her on her mourning drive.

And she cares for her child well, all safe within her private hell.

So glad, So glad, shes no longer alive.

But, she still has dreams, and sometimes it seams.

She wants to rise up from the dead.

But the silence it all runs out, with a little boys little shout.

And its time to get herself up out of bed.

and.. Emily wont come out to play no more.

Oh Emily wont come out to play any more.

Emily May, woke up one day, and kissed her life goodbye.

Though she was my friend, I knew it would end.

But something inside of me cried....

goodbye...
