Finding Hope and Resilience on the Darkest Days

On certain days, your spark may seem dim,

A gloomy haze, and weariness within.

Like a favored lightbulb that's lost its glow,

The one you adore, soft and mellow.

In a house too bright, it's the only source of grace,

But on some days, it's lost in a weary space.

It's as if rain falls from a troubled sky,

Anxious feelings that refuse to die.

An empty fridge, no time for shopping, you see,

Life's rush leaves little for you and me.

On some days, reserves run dry,

No words to write, no dreams to fly.

You're a reader who can't find the lines,

A sleeper who's lost in sleepless signs,

A writer with thoughts that won't unfurl,

A speaker with silence, an empty world.

These days can be heavy, filled with doubt,

Distant from love, lost in a drought.

Yet, it's just one day, or maybe a few,

For tomorrow, a new gift awaits you.

Feelings reset, luck starts to sway,

New chances emerge with the light of day.

Look up, there's the sky and the warming sun,

You'll witness it all when a new day's begun.

Hold on, my friend, through these darkest hours,

For a brighter day will soon bring flowers.

Keep the faith, let your hope guide the way,

Your troubles will lessen in the morning's ray.
