Eloquence, her dance
for In Eclipse Challenge.
eloquence, her dance, in the sky at day - eat her, rise up and encircle her power, devour it whole, with no remorse or recourse, ever the pragmatist
covering us all in a blanket of light and warmth - climatic the event we behold as you feast on her life-giving light and warmth, clear your intentions
lofty your motivations leveraging her power, her radiance for all below -leverage her might, that yours might be,
illuminated for all to take note, the smaller, yet stoic celestial body - in the darkness, she shines so bright, in her you are magnified
pushed aside momentarily for lunar praise - partition her beauty away from prying eyes, peer into her very being, as you shadow her, praise for your shadow
shielded or hidden, she bides her time - strong is the desire you must have to hold it, hold her just for just you -seizing her luminosity
even as she moves on, eager to brighten our lives once again - even after you pass her by, as you must, and make your long journey back around, yet again

You’ve really dug into the eclipse event itself with these Paul, and I like “ pushed aside momentarily for lunar praise”.
Whoaaa, this was mindblowing! It was so profound and beautiful! Loved your Paulitical Acrostic!
Love how the sun took center stage in this! Your descriptors of her were so well crafted! And the celestial movement was personified to perfection!
😮 *jaw drops* Poems within the acrostic poem itself. I thought your abecedarian acrostic was impressive, (and it still is) this is certainly memorable and will stand out to the judges. Or, at least, I would think so. It reads like something from a song and makes me want to stargaze🌌
You are such a deep and eloquent poet, Paul, it's always great pleasure to read your poems.
This is so thoughtful and dare I say it, eloquent!
