Music has changed so much and proven that things do seem to come full circle when it comes to change and trends with young people. People have looked back on the past, the modern day, and technology to try to create a form of new music merged from various eras.

After the end of the Third World War came to a close with the fall of Russia, the destruction of the Levant, and the crash of the economy of China, people were looking for something new to listen to and something to somewhat give people a boost in what essentially felt like terrible times with no end of gloom and doom in sight. So, some very great artists found a way to take the jazz sound you would hear in the 20s, the electric sounds of a rave, and the beats from hip-hop, and merge them into one!

This new sound is known as elect-swing funk. To the uninformed, it seems like some kind of gibberish that was made up, but trust me it is now considered a real world. Heck, you can now find this word in the Oxford English Dictionary! That is how popular this new genre of sound is now - even the ivory tower spectors in academia cannot ignore this music and its impact on society. Music alone might not fix everything, but it helps to make things feel a bit better!
