Drunk on the Unreal
3/8/08
When Reality’s lines are blurred
I feel all of my senses stirred.
I don’t know where you begin,
I don’t know where I end.
Can you answer the question?
Can you tell me where to go?
I need an answer now,
Before I fall.
When Reality’s lines are blurred,
I can do so much.
I bend the rules and shape the truth.
I am at rule here.
But how can I conquer
What I can’t hold tight.
I ask these questions
And once I know the answer,
It will end my life.
A life spent on searching,
A life spent on believing,
Creating, hoping, knowing
That someday it would end.
I feel Reality’s grip,
I hear its seductive whispers.
But I am drunk to this affect.
Now I can make a right decision.
When Reality’s lines are blurred,
I see better, hear better,
I think better and know better.
I can’t be wrong here.
This is where I belong.
