Drowning in emotions

I am drowning in this sea of emotion

Feelings that consume and overpower

I struggle to keep my head above the commotion

Terrified that these emotions will devour

My heart aches with an overwhelming yearning

Desires that I cannot express aloud

I fear that the truth will lead to burning

And these emotions will leave me intimidated

I long to let my heart be free

To express the depth of my feeling

But the fear of change is all I can see

And my mind is blocked from revealing

I am drowning in this feelings

And the weight is pulling me down

But maybe it's time to start revealing

And let my true self crown.
