DOGS

The friend with a tail

In a world of boundless wonder,

Where love's light is often seen,

There's a creature so pure, so tender,

A loyal friend, the dog supreme.

Oh, praise the dogs, those noble souls,

With hearts so kind and true,

Their unwavering love, it consoles,

Through days both bright and blue.

With eyes that gleam like diamonds bright,

And fur, a touch so soft,

They chase away the darkest night,

With each tail-wagging waft.

They greet us with infectious glee,

No matter how our day has been,

A love so vast, a joy so free,

A bond forever serene.

They teach us lessons, great and small,

Of loyalty and trust,

And in their presence, we stand tall,

For they bring out the best in us.

From shepherd's crook to playful run,

From gentle bark to mighty howl,

A dog's spirit, it cannot be undone,

Their presence, a treasure we'd never allow.

In fields they bound, with grace and speed,

A symphony of freedom unrestrained,

In their company, we find the seed,

Of joy, in simple pleasures gained.

Oh, dogs, dear friends, forever dear,

Your love is an endless flame,

In our hearts, you eternally appear,

With you, life is never the same.

So, let us praise these marvelous beings,

With every breath and every rhyme,

For dogs, with love, are heaven's strings,

Connecting our souls for all of time.
