jotting down random dark thoughts
is how i spend my time
mostly i just make it up
the thoughts are not all mine
i document the depravities
darks deeds and a plethora of ills
recording in written format
all the sickness and debased thrills
deeply tapping into what could be classed
as a full blown mental illness
i find a calm an inner peace
a place of tranquil stillness
it's not as though i'm going out
and performing these perversions
i mentally break the fourth wall
and see all the endless versions
i can see and not feel...
i can look and not care
this is my gift
and the burden i share
these documented deeds are legion
but none of them are mine
i just hope i'm not
casting pearls before swine
i have put the lipstick on the pig
and slapped the roof of the car
and i'm surprised that any of this
has been able to get this far
but fair warning early
don't take anything to heart
life's a stage and we're all players
and every day is a part
