Do you feed your demons

When they're lurking

In your mind's eye

With open arm welcome

Like an old friend

Comfortable, deadly

Familiar, unsteady

Yet...welcome home

Do you feed your demons

When they're lurking

Instead, just stop

Starve and dehydrate

Then send then packing

lubricated in petrol

Immolate until ashes
