Decency

Forgotten and Lost

By Cynthia Frazier-ParlerPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Decency never just walks up to us,

nor does it want to remain dormant, lost, and forgotten,

immobile is not its purpose--it longs to be awakened and implemented.

Decency understands that people can behave in many ways and it's their

prerogative if they so choose. However, what they fail to realize is that

we all need unconditional love these days.

It is puzzling to decency because it once recognized their grandparents

and parents too but Generation X behooves you.

Decency ask, do they not care that employing compassion is one of life's

golden rules. Because today and it wants us to help it to understand,

why we now find it obsolete to love, be courteous, and lend a helping

hand.

When did decency become nonexistent? Was I sleeping, busy, or is it

just a hit and miss. In all decency existence, and I have been ever of old.

I was here even in the beginning of time, what I recall is that decency has

always been inborn and implanted in every soul.

What decency now demands for those who have lost and forgotten

its significance--take a look around in this rainbow world,

show some love, humility, and with understanding that

being decent doesn't cost anything.
