Dear Jane
Poem
Dearest Jane,
Yes, it’s true our foundation is deep with profound friendship and that’s what matters. Of course that’s more important than love. But I felt waves running from our shared vibrant words, waves from your lemon balm bounty, and your own words that told me you felt more.
I know you love another, and I’ve made peace with it. I just wanted to know if it was only my penning prose you desired over the romantic outline you brought forth to me at those few points in our relationship?
As I mentioned, our friendship matters to me more, even as a man knows it’s hard to be around a lady he wants and loves, the friendship matters the most.
I love you, too, my dear, forever,
Edward.
