Boob-Tube Wannabe Illusions
Dateline, always on the tv
I’d make a stellar private eye
So many criminal wannabes
To arrest and charge for life
Rarely do they have a plan or plausible alibi
And you know, it doesn’t take a scientist
Comfy armchair, private eyes
Tom Cruise, missions not impossible
Easy for someone, as skilled as me
Distracting you from my real life, imagining me on your tv
