Darkness Comes
From A Halloween Prompt By Cathy Holmes and also my twenty first dark poem in the series inspired by Dharrsheena
This is a villanelle for Halloween from a prompt by Cathy Holmes here, but as always I make it difficult for myself. I am trying not to include any definite Halloween touchstones, but also am putting together a reading of my Edgar Allen Poe inspired βAnother Ravenβ that you can read at the end of this poem.
This is also my twenty first dark poem in the series inspired by Dharrsheena.
Although I have used it before the music I have chosen is Van Der Graaf Generator's "Darkness"

Love it!!!
I could feel the darkness engulfing while I was reading this poem. This was amazingly written! I loved it!
Love this line "The Shadows hide things that can not be shown." I played the music why reading which added to the haunting factor. Also read "Another Raven" which was excellent. Left comments there too.
Spooky and cool. The song is awesome too
This is fabulous, Mike. Love it.
